INSB Class & New York College sign Memorandum
On 20.2.2015 with the signatures of the President of Educational Organization New York College Mr. Elias Foutsi, and of the President & Managing Director of the Greek Classification Society International Naval Surveys Bureau-INSB Class Mr. Pantelis Chinakis, the establishment of cooperation between the two organizations was sealed via a relevant Memorandum of Cooperation, being relevant in the fields of Maritime & Academic Education.
Under the joint effort to facilitate and enhance academic cooperation, the validated memorandum provides for NYC graduates to be offered internship with the INSB Class and their practical training in various posts of the society while INSB Class to conduct focused and customized lectures and presentations to NYC students on key matters & trends of the marine industry.
It also provides a number of other incentives on exchange of information and joint events with the aim to achieve the optimum combination between theoretical and practical knowledge that is most necessary for the NYC students in the very demanding field of maritime activity.

Founded in 1989 in Athens, in collaboration with the State University of New York Empire State College, NYC established four educational institutions, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in partnership with American and European universities.

Συνεργασία μεταξύ New York College και International Naval Surveys Bureau - INSB Class
Στις 20.2.2015 με τις υπογραφές των κ. Ηλία Φούτση, Προέδρου του Εκπαιδευτικού Οργανισμού New York College και κ. Παντελή Χηνάκη, Προέδρου & Διευθ. Συμβούλου τoυ Νηογνώμονα International Naval Surveys Bureau- INSB Class, επισφραγίσθηκε, με σχετικό μνημόνιο, η έναρξη συνεργασίας μεταξύ των δύο μερών στον χώρο της Ναυτιλιακής Εκπαίδευσης.
Η συγκεκριμένη συνεργασία περιλαμβάνει την πρακτική εξάσκηση των σπουδαστών του Τμήματος Ναυτιλιακών Σπουδών του New York College στον INSB ενώ ο INSB θα αναλάβει να διεξάγει εστιασμένες και προσαρμοσμένες διαλέξεις και παρουσιάσεις στους φοιτητές του εν λόγω τμήματος αναφορικά με τεχνολογικά θέματα, εφαρμογή νέων κανονισμών και εξελίξεων που επικρατούν στον χώρο της σύγχρονης ναυτιλιακής βιομηχανίας.
Επίσης, προβλέπει και σειρά άλλων κοινών δραστηριοτήτων –μεταξύ αυτών ανταλλαγή ενημέρωσης, κοινες δράσεις- στο πλαίσιο της επίτευξης του καλύτερου δυνατού συνδυασμού θεωρητικής γνώσης και πρακτικής άσκησης, όπως απαιτεί σήμερα ο ανταγωνιστικός κλάδος της ναυτιλίας σε όλες του τις δραστηριότητες.
To New York College ( NYC ) είναι ένας εκπαιδευτικός οργανισμός , που προσφέρει υψηλής ποιότητας εκπαίδευση μέσα από την ακαδημαϊκή συνεργασία με γνωστά πανεπιστήμια των ΗΠΑ και της Ευρώπης. Ιδρύθηκε το 1989 στην Αθήνα και σε συνεργασία με το Κρατικό Πανεπιστήμιο Empire State College της Νέας Υόρκης ίδρυσε τέσσερα εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα , που προσφέρουν προπτυχιακά και μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα σε συνεργασία με τις Αμερικανικά και Ευρωπαϊκά πανεπιστήμια .
